Surrounded by the beauty of the Marlborough Sounds, Lochmara Lodge is a brilliant place to work and play. Spend your days in paradise, with free transport to and from Picton on scheduled water transport services (Lochmara Lodge is not accessible by car).

Café - Front of house
Welcome customers with a smile during morning, day or dinner service. Barista experience is always a bonus so let us know in your application if you have this special talent!

Great at working under pressure? Join our fast-paced, talented kitchen team.
Currently we only have one senior chef role available between mid-December 2026 and March 2027.
Housekeeping
Do you have an eye for detail? Become a Lochmara housekeeper.

Wildlife
Spend your days taking care of our fascinating land and marine animals.
Please note you must hold a marine biology or zoology degree to apply, and be prepared to run guided tours.

Put your talents to work at our Lodge, complete with 11 acres of hilly terrain. We are also looking for that special talent of being able to fix anything and everything with a technical mind and a plan to stick around for a few years!
